The Black Pages: Advice for Travelers |
| Other Sections: |
We've traveled quite a bit and sampled the local fare. In this section, we relate some of these travels to you. What restaurant is good in Williamsburg? Where is a friendly pub in Brussels? Where should you go for breakfast in Tel Aviv? Not only that, this is the place to go to find out where friends are currently. |

Again, why is there a travel section in a website devoted to a football team? Traveling is one of the many pleasures we take when not on the pitch. So, we decided to share experiences and views about different places. This section is divided into the following pages: With so many law students in the team, who could resist this title? Good pubs, bars, cafes, and clubs are one of the main attractions of a place. Before you go somewhere, why not check out what to look for and where? Plus, while technically not a travel destination for our team, we have reviews of D.C. bars as well. Same principle as the bar review. Ever been to a place and not known how to get good, cheap food quickly? From Booeymongers in Chevy Chase to the best damn hamburger in Tel Aviv; from the best chip shops in Brussels to the best Vietnamese in Clarendon; not to mention the best diners in every town we've been to. Lodging is a trickier question than food. It's where you keep your stuff. It's where you've got to shower. For heavens' sake, it's where you sleep, right? Go here to find where you should spend the night. Of course, the beach at Tel Aviv.... Another problem, right? You are somehow obligated to see something, take pictures, etc. when you get to where you're going. Along with Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, this page goes into some of the other sides of towns-nice places to walk, open-air markets, places to hang out...besides bars. Everyone who's traveled has a story to tell. I have more than a few. Check out this page to see what the hell happened in that club in Jerusalem on 23 June 1999, the Marina in Tel Aviv on 1 July 1999, or that bar in Brussels on...pick a night. Right now, we barely have the aforementioned pages complete, but we will eventually be arranging this section by place as well. In the future, all you'll have to do is click on the place below, then navigate from there. For now, here's a definite list of places featured in this section, followed by a proposed list: Washington, D.C., our home Virginia: Charlottesville, Richmond, Williamsburg North Carolina: Nags Head, Chapel Hill, Moorehead City Georgia: Athens Florida: Miami-Ft.
